ONE OF THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD.
Summer Residence of King Ludwig II.
Our first stop of this trip is a coffee/breakfast break with a beautiful view over the Inn valley. From there we continue passing Seefeld and Garmisch Partenkirchen to Oberammergau, which many know as a venue for music, but in everyday life is a centre for wood carving.
From there we only have a short drive to Schwangau, the location of our main target, the castle Neuschwanstein. The castle, built by King Ludwig II, which has given the inspiration to the »Magic castle of WaltDisney«, is often referred to as the most beautiful castle in the world. You should, however, spare some time also to see the neighbouring old castle of Hohenschwangau, which was the summer Residence of Ludwigs family during his young years.
The trip continues with a drive to the capital of Bavaria, Munich, where you get to know some of the most important sights of the city. You will have a chance for shopping and a dinner, or a visit to the »Hofbräuhaus«, the most famous »Beer House« of the world.
